Guard Dog Inc., a leader in the identity theft protection services industry, recently released a review for the year 2010 along with product updates to protect consumers against identity theft. The company provided a line of new products during 2010 and announced their goals for this coming year, 2011.

Guard Dog 2010

During the year 2010 Guard Dog released a line of new products which enhanced the original company product by offering new identity theft protection services for credit, non-credit related protection, and monitoring services for suspicious Internet activity. The expanded product line provided services for different markets that are being targeted by identity thieves and have not been addressed by other identity theft protection service providers.

GuardDogID also expanded the company presence on the Internet by providing a program for affiliates and additional consumer review sites. In addition to these business ventures Guard Dog created a consumer retail program which involved contracting with key retailers to include Guard Dog identity theft protection as an added feature to current products or to be offered as a single package of identity theft protection services.

During 2010, Guard Dog Inc. targeted the higher education market and government agencies both of which have experienced a rise in identity theft. The identity theft protection products created by Guard Dog were designed to assist with on-campus programs and government agencies in need of identity theft protection programs.

The year end figures for Guard Dog are to be released during the month of January 2011 with the company forecasts for the subscription base to include contracts that will carry over into 2011. The original company forecast reflected figures that included aggressive predictions due to plans for contracts with large providers however; due to delays in the process Guard Dog did not meet its intended projections. The company plans to step up the process starting this month.

Guard Dog 2011

In response to the delays that took place during 2010, Guard Dog is upgrading its technology team to work with the current delays. The team will consist of additional professionals that are trained in different areas of expertise who will work collaboratively to expand the product line, provide upgrades for the company website, and improve customer relationship management.

According to key executives for Guard Dog, Inc. they have not sacrificed any partnerships and the technology team they have in place is company development focused to help make up for time lost during the delays. The delays mostly took place with regard to partnerships and contracts that are still pending.

Guard Dog financial stats will be released on otcmarkets.com sometime during the month of January 2011. Following the release of this information, the company plans to schedule a conference call with the Guard Dog CEO to discuss the financial data. The call will also cover key information for Guard Dog investors related to shares, revenue forecast for 2011, and the newly implemented advisory board. Guard Dog also plans to post an update for investors on the company website. The company is publicly traded and shareholders can monitor company status through the Investor Relations page on the Guard Dog website.
